This is the ‘Village’ classification for Chardonnay which is also employed by the Pinot for wines that are to be enjoyed in their youth. Minimal new oak produces a wine that is firstly elegant and textural with 12 months in wood. Battonage adds to the attractive restrained fruit revealing a wine of purity and expression.
- Pale straw.
- Mineralic and restrained grapefruit with complex lees and sulphides.
- Restrained elegant structure with fine acidity and citrus/grapefruit. Good length and texture.
220 cases of the 2006 Woori Yallock Chardonnay were produced.

2007 November Launch
The 2007 launch saw Mac travel up the east coast. The new wines were showcased in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and those that were lucky enough to make it to one of the dinners in each city were spoilt with not only his new wines but also a selected number of wines from overseas including some wonderful Champagne, Italian reds and ports.
