Sirinart Thannisorn
designer of all labels excluding ‘Hugh’ as well as newsletter

Sirinart has over 10 years work experience in graphic design, advertising, packaging design, merchandising and art directing. At present, she runs her own design consultancy business.  Prior to this, she was the sole designer for Domaine Chandon Australia (DCA) - a subsiduary of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennersey. There, her main role was to design, art direct and purchase all work relating to DCA's image, point of sales, wine labels and packagings.

A sample of some her recent (and current) clients includes:

Mac Forbes Wines, McPherson Wines, Punt Road Winery, Little Rebel Wines, Kennedy Wilson Chocolates, de Cure Vineyards, Stuart Wines Company, Heathcote Winery, Lot 1 Olive Oil, Coloplast Medical Supplies, Visy Closed Loop, Genre Gallery.

There is, of course, always room for one more....

CONTACT :  Sirinart is based in Clifton Hill, Melbourne, and can be reached on 0438 917 149 or sirinart@thanissorn.com

Her designs were based on the following briefs by Mac:

Rieslings – Going to be a bit of a chameleon by having one label that will be used for the sweeter and dry Riesling. Typically this wine for me represents a tall feline female. Intelligent, sexy, a little shy to start with but so very very seductive……And not as innocent as she first appears….  Will be more attractive with age.

Arneis - Classic Italian architecture… Balanced structurally. Pencil Pines, lots of green and whites. Stone colours.

Rose - Think Provence ( France). The little Frenchman with the baguette and cheese. A long lunch and very very European…….Happy with its own lot and not needing to travel to have a sense of place or origin.

Barbera – Crazy Italian - Lively, energetic and very attractive…….. The area is northern Italy where truffles , skiing and football rule. Food dominates life. The wine is vibrant, textural and unusual…..

Shiraz- A large generous ‘big momma’ type figure. A little bit of facial hair but lots of love…... Very strong and tender all at once

Jeff Martin – Responsible for “hugh’ Label.
Jeff Martin is a painter based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Jeff’s work has been heavily influenced by his travels to Sicily, Italy. It has been during these trips that Jeff has observed a small fishing village off the North West coast and visually documented this dwindling industry, with particular reference to the persons at the core of this society.

This work in conjunction with Jeff’s love of food and wine (and previous involvement with the industry) suggested to Mac that Jeff was an obvious person to approach about bringing together a label titled ‘Hugh’. Mac and Jeff plan to work together in the future on a portrait series of labels. Jeff has an extensive range of works with two major exhibitions planned for 2007. For more information on Jeff, please got to www.jeffmartin.com.au
