This Syrah is grown by Warwick Bisley who also grows the Pinot above. Also north facing and dry grown, this wine is a little closed after bottling but is so focused and flavoursome. This is the style of syrah that I love. The wine was matured in old and new wood for 18 months and was racked 3 times.

• Dark cherry red with bright edges
  
• On the nose this wine is focused and intensely lifted with violets, spice and dark fruits
  
• Palate displays freshness, fine grainy tannins and direction. I can’t wait to see the wine open and become more expressive
