This wine is immensely textural and is the most generous and seductive of all wines. Dark fruits work in harmony with savoury characters and a lively structural fine blanket of tannin. Made for lovers of Northern Rhone.
- Medium dark red. Semi opaque.
- Slightly reductive nose with red fruits, some herbs (subtle sage) olives, pepper and sweetness.
- Finely structured with great length and layered tannins. Good flesh and fullness yet elegant tannins. Dark full fruit with texture and good line and length. Finishes off with green olives and a balancing sweetness.
146 cases of the 2005 Syrah were produced.

2007 November Launch
The 2007 launch saw Mac travel up the east coast. The new wines were showcased in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and those that were lucky enough to make it to one of the dinners in each city were spoilt with not only his new wines but also a selected number of wines from overseas including some wonderful Champagne, Italian reds and ports.
