The picturesque Strathbogie Ranges are situated 2 hours drive north east of Melbourne. Rising above the surrounding areas, this region is fast becoming recognised for sparkling wine and Riesling. The higher altitude combined with the lean soils (Primarily sandy granitic profiles) has driven our passion to indulge Riesling and in the future also Gruner Veltliner, which we are bringing in from Austria. 2008 may come to be considered our best vintage to date due to a wonderful growing season and a better understanding from us in the cellar.

At this stage we have released the rs9 and rs37. However, the real surprise is going to be the 2008 tradition which I fermented and left on skins for 3 months. This is still sitting in old wood and will be bottled at the end of the year. Only 300 bottles will be made but this wine is astonishing.
